1. Terms of Service

By accessing or using Croply's API and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

Croply provides a B2B SaaS API for automated video reframing. These services are provided "as is" and "as available" for your professional and commercial use.

2. Acceptable Use

2.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service to process videos for commercial and non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to the content you process through our API.

2.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Resell the Service itself as a standalone raw API without adding significant value or functionality.

3. Payment & Billing

Our Service operates on a pay-as-you-go model. You agree to the following billing terms:

• Rate: £0.10 per minute of processed video.
• Minimum Charge: A minimum of £0.10 is charged per video processing job, regardless of video length.
• Balance: You must maintain a positive account balance to use the API. Account balances are non-refundable except as required by law.
• Changes: We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after price changes constitutes agreement to the new pricing.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the videos you upload and the reframed output generated by our Service. We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service.

4.2 License to Process

By uploading content, you grant Croply a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when your content is deleted from our systems.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Croply shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any content obtained from the Service.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This section outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

• Account Information: Email address, name, and billing details.
• Usage Data: API logs, processing times, and error rates.

7. Data Processing & Retention

7.1 Video Data

Video files uploaded to our Service are processed in secure, isolated environments. We do not retain your video content. Original files and processed outputs are automatically deleted from our servers shortly after processing is complete (typically within 24 hours).

7.2 Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL protocols.
